Just because your applications have been deemed ‘legacy’, does not mean they are not important.  Legacy servers and the applications they host are often mission critical, and often have high uptime requirements. In addition, mission critical legacy applications many times need programming modifications to adjust to changing business requirements and require day to day application support if there are issues.

Do you have old IT equipment / Legacy IT equipment?  LCI can help with all aspects of your legacy IT environment.  We provide operating system support, system administration, day to day application support, application programming, and hardware support.

We offer support for hardware and software for the follow operating systems:  HP-UX, Sun Microsystems SPARC / Oracle Solaris, HP 9000 and HP 3000 MPE/iX, AIX, AS400, IBM PA-RISC, and RS/6000.  If you are running any of these operating systems, please contact us to discuss your service needs.

It is also possible that your legacy systems are good candidates for emulation using the Charon product from Stromasys, Inc.  Charon will allow you to move your legacy applications from aging hardware to state-of-the-art hardware running Linux or Windows, eliminating the risks associated with aging hardware.  Charon allows you to run your OS and applications natively on modern hardware running Linux or Windows.  Lawinger Consulting, Inc. works closely with Stromasys and have been involved in dozens of migrations of varying OS’s and applications.  Contact us to discuss if your legacy systems are good candidates for using the Stromasys emulator.
